Our August meeting guest speaker was Philip Caine who entertained us all with tales of his working life starting in his home town of Barrow. Who would have believed that a lowly pot room boy would cater in the oil rigs, create working townships in Africa, become involved with the KGB and Russian mafia in Kazakhstan and manage camps for the Americans in Baghdad. An adventurous life indeed. Thank you Philip for a very entertaining talk. And! Because he arrived early, he set up the seating in the hall for us as well!
