Gardening Group News
Our November visit was a very successful visit to Radcot gardens. 26 members enjoyed a very interesting talk from the owners on how they planned and executed their garden, a great deal of hard work, but the result is glorious.
The garden is a series of garden rooms with different characters and planting. The autumn colour was very good. The use of mulch and bark chippings made it so different from the gardens we saw at Aston.
After our talk we were free to wander at will over the gardens and then partake in tea and scones, it has to be done!

There is a change of plan for November and December.
November 29th 2pm:
I have booked the town hall for end of year meeting. No quiz this year but I am hoping you will come for tea/coffee and biscuits and a general socialise with club members. I would like it if you could bring any photos of our visits and your own gardens. If anyone has any interesting gardening tales now is the time to tell them. We can then also discuss next year which I am close to finalising and hopefully will have the 2018 calendar of events ready by then.
I have decided not to have meetings in December and January because of how busy we all are and the gardens are sleeping!
We will begin again in February.
I look forward to seeing you at Rousham gardens.
