Guiting Power-Naunton Circular Walk 21st June 2022

What a beautiful morning to go for a walk.

Ian and Iain offered to drive us to the start on the walk in Guiting Power.  It was to be a 5.25 mile walk and very undulating.

Fields, quiet roads, tracks and country lanes made up the terrain which was reasonable except for sections of stoney ground.

We stopped in the very pretty village of Naunton to eat lunch.  The river Windrush runs past cottages and the village green; just off the road is a Dovecote – a visit booked for next time.

Just before arriving back at our cars, we came across a playground with a zip wire.  Several had a turn cheered on by the on-lookers.

Thank you to Ian and Iain for driving and for being our front and back markers in your yellow reflective vests.  Pam
