14 members drove to Black Bourton where the walk started from.
The walk was largely over flat rural fields with well-defined footpaths and some running beside a brook. A small walk through a wood where we spotted 3 cray fish in the very shallow water. In Bampton a very short pavement walk. We stopped by Bampton Church for a photo, and who knows it could be the “New” Downton Abbey. At the end of the walk, it was decided to drive back to Carterton where those that wanted to enjoy a coffee. We still had a fly past even though there are no aeroplanes at Brize Norton!
Thank you to the car drivers. Pam
