GOOD NEWS
After a long campaign to improve transport between Carterton and the Oxford hospitals I am delighted that at last we have got a new bus service going all the way to  the JR and Brookes University. The S7 will pick up from Stanmore Crescent , Carterton Crossroads and Broadshires Health Centre on an hourly service. It will drop people off at Headley Way for the JR, and  bus drivers will guide you to  linked services for the other hospitals .
This is initially just testing the market.  If there is not sufficient demand, then it could well be discontinued.  So please spread the word.  Use it or lose. it!
Timetable details available  from Stagecoach or on the  U3A website and noticeboard.

Thames Valley DeNDRoN is a NHS-based research network that aims to improve the amount and quality of research in dementias (e.g. Alzheimer’s disease and others), ataxia, Huntington’s, Parkinson’s and Motor Neurone Disease. Our team offers a specialist research service within the NHS, helping to set up, run and provide research opportunities to patients, carers and clinicians. We offer a unique service, giving members of the public the opportunity to find out more about the latest research in these areas, as well as how they can get involved. We are part of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).
