Another fine day for our visit to the seaside, thankfully not too hot.

The traffic was quite heavy on the way with lots of road works.

When we arrived in Bournemouth, the road where the coach drop off point is, was partially closed due to roadworks, with no access into the square at the top of the gardens where the public conveniences are situated. Most made their way into the upper gardens via one of   the many paths and then walked to the beach stopping for a short time to listen to a choir singing from the bandstand. Because of access to the gardens, it was practically empty of visitors, this made it a very different feel to the gardens.  The sea front was not too over crowded.  The visitors were in a long line close to the sea, the remainder of the beach near the promenade was quite empty. It was really quite unusual. Several members of our party went swimming in the sea and many paddled.  Harry Rammsden’s fish and chips was popular for lunch.  Our time appeared to go very quickly and it was soon time to meet for our return journey, which was a lot quicker than the one in the morning
