Before the temperature rose 12 members drove to Lechlade and parked at the Memorial Hall car park. This was a new walk for most. The terrain was flat and with only a few tree routes to contend with. The walk was varied with some pavement walking, across harvested fields, along a well shaded lane beside a stream, and alongside a field of sweetcorn. There were several stiles and bridges to cross. Arriving back in Lechlade high street, we all agreed to go into the New Inn pub for drinks. The inside was cool, very clean and sold delicious coffee.  Lemon and lime was popular too. It was a very nice companiable morning. Thank you to the car drivers. Pam
