We were so lucky to have a glorious morning and indeed a day of sunshine with temperatures rising as the day progressed.
Hampton Court Palace is a Grade I listed palace and is vast and steeped in history throughout with its winding and long corridors. The Palace, the gardens and grounds were extremely well kept. They all sit alongside the River Thames.
Unfortunately, the tulip display was past it’s best but a number of planters still had lots of colours. Some members were fortunate to be given tulip bulbs to take home.
The palace is still a magnet for attracting visitors from all over the world. It has been used as a location for filming film and television shows. It has a permanent superb art collection of some of the Royal Collection’s finest works.
A great day out. Pam
