48 members boarded our coach on a sunny but chilly morning for an outing to Weston, a Victorian era resort in Somerset.
Arriving at the sea front it was sunny and still chilly, but it soon warmed up and was a very pleasant day. Donkeys were giving rides on the sand. Amazingly the sea was close in, there were many comments about this.
The new pier looked quite impressive; the previous one having been burnt down several years ago.
Fish and chips and ice creams were high on lists.
A new shopping precinct attracted some.
Both journeys were good, without any hold ups.
A very relaxing day with lots of sea-air. Pam
