Shipton-u-Wychwood – Milton-u-Wychwood, Foxholes Wood/Nature Reserve circular walk, on 20th August 2024 – 7 miles

There were 12 members for today’s walk, led by Madeleine.

It was a lovely walk with nice views and was over fields, lanes, some road walking and through Foxholes Nature Reserve.  Some of the fields had been harvested, some were full of wildflowers where conservation was taking place.  Thankful there wasn’t too much mud!

Half an hour into the walk it began to rain, fortunately we were not too far from the café we had planned to stop at.  The café had the yummiest morning buns you could wish for.

Leaving the café, the rain had stopped, and the sun appeared, so our wet clothes dried fairly quickly on our backs.

It was a very enjoyable walk, so thank you Madeleine for leading it, and thank you and Ian for driving.  Pam
