Today’s walk was one of our rescue walks, i.e. weather and climate dependant.
There were 19 of us this morning for the walk where we had some shelter from the sun under the trees and in the woods.
We parked at the NT car park at Ewe Pen Barn and followed the pink way markers. The route took us over peaceful farmland, woodlands, views over the fields and Sherborne Brook and into the village with its quaint shop and war memorial.
Some had refreshments when we reached the shop while others sat in the shade and nattered.
Thank you to the car drivers, much appreciated. Pam
