Early in the morning it was very wet which made for a difficult decision as to whether the walk should be cancelled.

We met at the usual car park and would make a decision then.  With 11 members turning out we decided to walk.

When we arrived in Clanfield it was light rain and gradually turned to drizzle and eventually stopped.

The walk was a “go to” walk being flat and easy walking.  It was damp underfoot but not muddy, just a few puddles.

We had almost reached the café when the rain started again, it did pour down just as we entered the café.

A nice hot drink and refreshments made it all worthwhile.

Leaving the café, it was dry for the short walk back to our cars.
