Firstly, we welcomed 3 new walkers to the group Alan, Neil, Jennifer and re-introduced Chris.
16 walkers met on a drizzling murky morning. However, when we reached Sherborne, it was brighter and dry.
The footpaths round the walk had all been turned into solid footpaths. The wettest and muddiest parts of the walk were reaching and leaving the woods.
It was a first time for some on this walk, and they enjoyed seeing the snowdrops, crocus and aconites. Although these were not as many as in past years, they still made a good display.
After the walk the decision was to travel back to Carterton where the choice was either to go straight home or have a coffee in town.
Thank you to everyone for your company and a special thank you to the car drivers. Pam
