It was a difficult decision to whether to walk or cancel because of the weather. It was raining early morning and several members contacted me to see if the walk would go ahead. I made the decision to meet at the arranged time in the TOFS car park. 9 members arrived saying they all wished to walk. It was still raining, was windy and quite cool by the time we arrived at Sherborne. Still, this did not deter the walkers. Thankfully the weather didn’t get any worse and we had an enjoyable walk. At times we stopped to listen to birds chirping (1 member has an app which can identify the bird). There were blue bells in the woods as well as aconites and other dainty flowers. Several newly born calves were in the field snuggled up to their mums. On the way home several went into Burford to Café 15 for a late elevenses. Thank you to the car drivers and the walkers who braved the weather. Pam
