S&S Walk 3rd September 2025 – Cogges-Woodgreen circular

7 Members met in the TOFS car park whilst it was pouring with rain.  They were all adamant they wanted to walk, no matter what the weather was doing. We drove to Witney and parked in Waitrose car park and miraculously the rain stopped.  We made our way to Cogges, and one member wanted to a have a look in Cogges Church, which we did. Carrying on we came to the road leading to Oxford Hill, turning left we made our way to Pens Close and wound our way through the houses, to Woodland Road and then onto Woodgreen. Our plan was to enjoy a coffee in a new café at the Hexagon Centre housed in Elmfield House. After coffee we made our way to the Hailey Road/West End junction, followed a foot path across a green, up Puck Lane, back to the High Street and then to the car park. When we reached the cars, it started to rain again. Thanks to Pete for driving. Pam
