This was an approx 5 mile walk round the Blenheim Estate on roads and lanes, which kept our feet dry not having to wade through floods. Occasional light drizzle but mostly dry with a chilly wind and very exhilarating. A shoot was taking place, and at one stage a convoy of vehicles carrying the “beaters” passed us.
The grounds have some fascinating old trees which make a lovely photograph.
At the end of the walk, we visited the Palace café and had a hot drink, some indulged in expensive pastries.
