8 walkers for this walk on a lovely winter’s morning. We chose this walk after the torrential rain in previous days. Partway round the perimeter we met Hazel after she had walked from Black Bourton to meet us. Most of the walk was on solid ground, we did cross 2 fields which were surprisingly dry. It was quite noisy with a continual stream of aircraft flying overhead. When we reached Black Bourton where Hazel lives, she kindly invited us in for a hot drink. We left Black Bourton and followed the road through the village and then round the perimeter, the Crescent and back into Carterton. It was approx 6 miles that we walked, and it was quite tiring even though the terrain was flat. Thank you to the group for your company. Pam
